Ocean Drive Deco Apt w/2 Queen Beds, Steps 2 Beach

I do recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of South Beach, Miami. Positive: This is my second time staying there for my birthday, two years in a row. The location is PHENOMENAL. The property is extremely clean, spacious, and located directly across the street from the beach and tons of local restaurants. The secure electronic key access to the property and to the apartment was very convenient and secure. I made sure that I left the property in pristine condition as it was when I arrived. Negative: The only three things that I wasn't satisfied with are that both beds are very uncomfortable. An extremely thin mattress that sits on a metal bed stand. You can feel the rails on your back as you're lying down, which caused me some back pains. The second thing was when you lock the door from the inside, and try to unlock it as you are about to leave, the door jams, and you cannot get out. This didn't happen when I stayed last year, but it happened several times this year. I called the property manager when it happened to me the first night, and he seemed surprised by the information that I gave him. While I was on the phone with him, the door unlocked and I was able to leave. This happened to me several times during my 5-day stay. The property manager is extremely nice, and once again, I love the property, but those two things seem to have changed from last year to this year. Lastly, the family staying to the left of me, I believe it was unit 16, was a couple with a few kids. Early in the morning and late at night, the kids would be screaming and playing outside my door for hours. I opened my door several times and asked the parents if they could not have their kids being so loud outside my door, but my request was ignored.

Positive: Location and room.amenities and layout

We had a good stay and would go back next time I come to Miami. Positive: Clean, close to the beach Negative: Lights are kept on in the common area and come into the room at night. It’s likely for safety,I felt safe staying there. If you’re sensitive to light at night, bring an eye mask.

Positive: Vicinanza alla spiaggia. Negative: Appartamento a piano terra con una sola finestra piccola che da verso un vicolo dove ci sono dei ristoranti. Le persiane sono rotte ed entra luce da quell’unica finestra. Dall’altra parte il cortile interno è pieno di condizionatori rumorosi. Alle 3 di notte i vicini di sopra hanno fatto rumore impedendoci di riposare tutte e due le notti nonostante ci fossimo lamentati. Altre cose come la doccia da sistemare, le lenzuola se fossero di cotone potrebbero migliorare l’esperienza.

Positive: Great place!! I stayed alone! But perfect for families!! I shall return!!! Merci beaucoup Walter and Team!! They kept everything clean 🧼 for me! Time to change one of the mattresses soon! My only advice!! Bisous 😘
